Important Measuring Points

• - Most carpets are available in widths of 4m and 5m, there are some ranges that offer multi widths, you must always consider a +/- 1% tolerance on all widths.
• - Measure the widest points of the room.
• - Allow for doorways, alcoves, bay windows & recesses.
• - We recommend to add 10cm to all measurements.
• - You may be able to use off cuts on stairs or other areas.
• - It is advised that the pile on all carpet is connecting rooms runs in the same direction to maintain texture & colour consistency.
• - Lay carpet in a single piece where possible.
• - Avoid seams/joins in thouroghways.
• - It is advised you purchase all the carpet you need for connecting rooms at the same time due to batch colour differences.
• - Carpet in different widths & carpet pile weight can vary in colour.
• - The pile of landing carpet should run in the same direction as the stairs. Make sure you measure to include the whole riser.
• - Measure twice.
